Description: Fictionalized account by a former pilot, using the infamous staged aerial combat photos from the "Cockburn-Lange Collection," which were revealed as such in the 1980's. Still a good read. This is a very good copy, without dust jacket. It has been neatly rebacked. There is a bookplate and an ink inscription on the front pastedown and free endpaper, respectively, else fine.
