Description: Godfrey Drage served principally in Burma prior to World War I. In World War I he served in all four theaters, including Gallipoli. Uncommon. Most of the wartime episodes are in his own words. A good copy, corners badly worn, boards lightly soiled, endpapers slightly foxed, front hinge split, taped on pp. 80-81 (tape is very yellowed and shows through on the opposite sides of the leaves), issued without dust jacket.
