Directions

Chartwell Booksellers is located inside the lobby of the Park Avenue Plaza building, midblock on 52nd Street (north side) between Park and Madison Avenues.
The Park Avenue Plaza building runs through to 53rd Street, so there are also entrances on 53rd Street, midblock (south side), between Park and Madison Avenues.
Enter from 52nd Street and turn left. Enter from 53rd Street and turn right. You will find us within the arcade of shops in the lobby.

Bus:

M4 north, up Madison Avenue, stop near 52nd Street.
OR
M5 south, down Fifth Avenue, stop near 52nd Street.
Walk east on 52nd Street to Number 55.

Subway:

E or F train to Fifth Avenue stop.
Traveling uptown, ride in front cars; traveling downtown, ride in rear cars. Exit platform up station escalators (2 flights up) and follow signs out to 53rd Street. Exit station turning right onto 53rd Street. Walk approximately 20 feet down 53rd Street, away from Madison Avenue toward Park Avenue. Park Avenue Plaza building entrance is on your right.
